Last Time Out

After trailing by three following the first quarter, the Leathernecks took control with a 20–11 second quarter and never looked back, outscoring the Tigers 41–30 in the second half. Mia Nicastro led WIU with 20 points and eight rebounds, while Madison Davis posted a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards off the bench. Addi Brownfield and Mallory Shetley added 12 and 11 points, respectively, as the Leathernecks improved to 12–2 overall and 4–1 in OVC play.
Scouting the Golden Eagles
Tennessee Tech enters the 2025-26 season as one of the top contenders in the Ohio Valley Conference, carrying momentum from a strong start and a solid overall record early in league play. The Golden Eagles have combined efficient offense with stingy defense, averaging just over 68 points while holding opponents around 60 per game, a margin that keeps them competitive in most matchups. Senior guard Reghan Grimes leads the attack with team-high scoring and playmaking, while forward LaReesha Cawthorn provides strength on the boards and a presence inside. Tech's balanced lineup features contributions across the roster, with multiple players capable of scoring and rebounding in double figures. Under the guidance of longtime head coach Kim Rosamond, the Golden Eagles emphasize physical defense, disciplined execution and team cohesion as they look to climb the OVC standings and make a run toward postseason play.
