Men's Golf Wraps Up Arkansas State Invitational

MACOMB, Ill- Western Illinois Men's Golf finished in 10th place at the Arkansas State Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, shooting a 914 (+50) in three rounds as a team. 

Owen Howe (+9) led the way for the Leathernecks, finishing tied for 31st place. Howe came out on fire in round one, shooting two under par (70). He would have five birdies in round one, with three of them coming on the front nine to shoot a 34 (-2). Howe would finish the next two rounds with scores of 76 (+4) and 79 (+7). In rounds two and three, he would have five birdies combined with two coming in round two, and three coming in round three. 

Rounding out the scores for the Leathernecks was Mateo Rascon (+13), Nathan Tillman (+18), Baptiste Labeyrie (+21), and Maverick Schwabe (+23). WIU will now head to Cape Girardeau, Missouri for the OVC Championships starting on Sunday, April 20.
