This week freshman Kennedy Adair shines as a hometown hero for all sports fans here in Macomb. Adair holds the Macomb High School kill record with over 1,000 career kills during her four years playing varsity.
The Leatherneck tradition runs deep at the Adair household; Kennedy's parents, Tye and Jill Adair, both attended Western Illinois University, and her grandfather, Fred Adair, is also in the Athletics Hall of Fame.
