WAC/Summit League Challenge | The Summit League and Western Athletic Conference continue year two of their yearly challenge, and the Summit is currently 2-1.

Series History | Western Illinois was victorious in the last three meetings, but the Roos hold a 26-17 edge in the all-time series. Each of the last three games were decided by five points or less.

Kansas City will rejoin The Summit League for the 2020-21 academic year and all 16 of its athletic programs will begin competition that fall.

Last Time Out |  Western picked up a big road victory in a 69-62 win at Ball State Tuesday (Nov. 26) night. The Leathernecks raced out to a 32-12 lead in the first half but saw the score leveled at 59 with 3:49 showing on the clock.

With back-to-back 3-pointers, C.J. Duff and Kobe Webster sparked a 10-3 rally to end the game; the only Cardinal points came from the free-throw line.  

Double Up | In the 69-62 road victory over Ball State, James Claar (12 points, 13 rebounds) and Zion Young (15 points, 10 rebounds) recorded their first career double-doubles.

Both recorded career-highs in rebounding, and it marked Western's first double-doubles of the year.
