The highs included a career-best 28 points -- and lucky No. 1,000 – for Kobe Webster, but the lows changed the game's momentum as Western led by as many as 15 in the second quarter.
Scouting the Huskies | Northern Illinois (2-2) will play host to Longwood Monday night before taking on the Leathernecks, and enters the game on back-to-back wins over Coppin State (November 15) and Rockford (November 16). Four Huskies scored in double figures in each of those two contests, where senior Eugene German led the way with 23 points against Coppin and 21 against Rockford. He sits fifth all-time on NIU's scoring list with 1,658 career points.
Mr. 1000 | Kobe Webster's journey to 1,000 career points took three years (just 62 games). Heading into the Leathernecks' home matchup against UT Martin (November 13), the junior was a point shy of the mark and went on to finish the game with a career-high 28.
Webster currently sits 24th all-time with 1,027 points.
Career Highs | Three recorded career-highs in Western's 98-91 setback against UT Martin:
Kobe Webster | 28 points (11-16 FG, 4-6 3PT)
Ben Pyle | 18 points (4-9 3PT, 4-4 FT)
James Claar | 13 points (6-9 FG)
Signed, Sealed, Delivered | Elijah Jones and Sincere McMahon signed NLIs this past week and will join the Leathernecks in the 2020-21 season.

McMahon, the younger brother of junior guard Anthony Jones, is a sharp-shooting guard from Indianapolis, Ind., enjoying his senior year at Attucks High School. This past year, he averaged 16.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.

No. 1 Team in the Nation | When it comes to shooting free throws, there's no better team in the nation. The Leathernecks currently lead all of Division I with an 85.4 percentage.
Mr. Consistency | In his four-year tenure, C.J. Duff has appeared and started in 89 games for the Leathernecks and has logged 2,868 career minutes.
