Official Statement: Western Illinois Director of Athletics Matt Tanney

MACOMB, Ill.— The Western Illinois Athletics Department responds to speculation regarding head football coach, Charlie Fisher, with an official statement from Director of Athletics Matt Tanney.

"In light of recent media reports suggesting otherwise, Charlie Fisher remains the head football coach at Western Illinois University," said Tanney. "We will not further comment or speculate on personnel matters at this time."
