SPRINGBORO, Ohio – Western Illinois women's tennis lost 7-0 to Wright State on Thursday morning (March 13) at the South Regency Tennis Center. The Leathernecks slipped to 0-10 overall on the year while WSU improved to 3-8.

Jenna Wallace lost 6-1, 6-0 in the number one singles spot, and Nicole Jones lost 6-1, 6-1 at number two. Andriana Johnson fell 6-1, 6-0 at number four and Ese Davis dropped a 6-2, 6-2 decision at number five. Western was blanked at three and six singles.

The Leathernecks were swept in the doubles match, winning a game in the number three doubles.

Western wraps up the Spring Break trip on Friday, traveling to Ball State. Match time is scheduled for 2 p.m. central.
