Registration Now Open for Softball's 2015 Winter Camp

The high school and youth camps will be held January 17, 18 and January 25 respectively.

MACOMB, Ill. - Registration for the 2015 Winter Softball Camps are now open. The high school camp, open to girls from seventh grade through 12th grade will be held on January 17 and January 18. The youth clinic, open to girls from second to sixth grade, will be held on January 25.

The camps, held inside Brophy Hall on the campus of Western Illinois University. The high school camp will be have four sessions to choose from. Both Saturday (Jan. 17) and Sunday (Jan. 18) will have an offense/defense session and a pitching/catching session. For one session, the camp rate is $90 per person. If a camper chooses to attend two sessions, the fee is $150 per person. Group rates are available ($80 per person for one session, $135 per person for two sessions).

Registration is due by January 9, 2015 in order to avoid a $10 late fee. Walk-ins are welcome and will be assessed a $10 late fee per session.

The youth clinic will take place on January 25, also inside Brophy Hall. The one day camp will provide campers with a variety of softball skills, including: hitting, pitching, fielding,throwing, base running, and sliding. The youth clinic will coast $50 per person or $40 per person in groups of four or more. Registration is due by January 16.
