Larry Heimburger,1997 - WIU sports information director from 1969- 94. He promoted 122 All-Americans, was the recipient of 28 national awards, and has the distinction of being the longest serving SID in the state. He was elected into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame in 1992. He ranks sixth in consecutive games worked among all SIDs ever to enter the profession.
