Brenda Heyl,2000 - Brenda earned the reputation as one of the best pitchers in Westerwinds softball history. She was named the WIU Softball Player of the Decade in 1989. In her senior year, Heyl finished 15th nationally in earned run average. She set over 10 WIU single-season and career records, and was the first player to have her jersey (lucky #13) retired.
