Athletics Department Welcomes 2012 Hall of Fame Class

MACOMB, Ill. - The Western Illinois Athletics Department inducted five members to the Hall of Fame on Friday night (Sept. 21). The dinner and ceremony took place in the University Union Grand Ballroom.

The 2012 class consists of: Tom Carper (Contributor), Jerry Champer (Swimming/Diving Coach), Dave Dir (Men's Soccer), Craig Phalen (Football), and Holly (Killion) Van Vlymen (Softball).

More than 160 people were in attendance for the event. The class was also honored during halftime of Saturday's football game.
