MACOMB, Ill. - Fighting Leatherneck women's basketball coach JD Gravina tossed the first pitch at a Quad City River Bandits game on Wednesday night. The River Bandits are the Class A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.

The River Bandits will played host to the Burlington Bees at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, Iowa.

The leader of the women's basketball program has enlisted the help of his staff to prepare the event. He sought the help of his assistant coach, Seth Minter, for a few pointers. Check back to watch how Coach Gravina prepared for the first pitch ceremony.
