Football Season Tickets Going in the Mail

MACOMB, Ill. - Season tickets and parking passes for the upcoming 2010 Western Illinois Football campaign are in the mail. However, there is still time for fans to purchase season tickets to watch the six games at Hanson Field, starting September 2nd against Valparaiso.

"There's been a great response from our past season ticket holders and we've been very happy with the renewal process to this point. The new mini plans are something we really want to see the public take advantage of. We wanted to make sure that they were something affordable and offered a different set of options to the traditional season ticket plans," said Director of Marketing Brock Wissmiller.

Public reserved seats are $90 each while the public general admission costs $65/each. Reserved seats for Western Illinois faculty and staff are $70 each while the WIU general admission costs $45.

Business Backs the Leathernecks program returns this fall, and there's time for businesses to take advantage of this ticket package. For $360 businesses will receive six (6) reserved tickets and public address announcement at each game.

Any unused (not torn) 2010 season ticket can be turned in exchange for any one of the remaining games.

The Leatherneck Homecoming Special runs $45 each covering three games, which fans receive the best available reserved seat for: Homecoming vs. Indiana State; choice of game versus Valparaiso or Sam Houston State; and choice of game versus Illinois State or Northern Iowa.
