HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mahomet-Seymour High School and lettered in cross country, basketball, and track. Burke was All-Conference in the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 300 hurdles, 200m dash, 100m dash and the long jump. She was All-State in the 300 hurdles and the 4x400. She placed 8th in state for the hurdles after only doing them six times. During her senior track season, Burke served as team captain and was also named Female Athlete of the Year and received the 2012 Bulldog Award.

PERSONAL: Daughter of John and Peggy Burke... born August 13, 1993... majoring in Secondary Education with aspirations of becoming a teacher or coach.
