At Western Illinois
2007 (Junior season): Played against St. Francis as backup quarterback... rushed three times for 15 yards... was a very consistent holder for PATs and field goals in all 11 games.
2006 (Sophomore season): Appeared in three games as second-string QB... completed 3 passes for 82 yards... all 82 yards came on touchdown passes of 51 and 31 yards against Kentucky Wesleyan, his only two attempts of the game... also appeared against Morehead State and Northern Colorado.
2005 (Redshirt-Freshman season): Appeared in seven games as a backup to Steve LaFalce... completed 17 of 33 attempts for 341 yards and four touchdowns... also rushed 14 times for 67 yards... put together the most successful debut by a Leatherneck freshman, passing for 124 yards (7-of-10) and two touchdowns at Toledo... was part of the first freshman-to-freshman touchdown combination at Western Illinois in 24 years when he found Paul Anderson in the end zone at Toledo... led the Leathernecks to touchdowns on two of the first three drives of his career (at Toledo).
Before Western Illinois
2004 (Mississippi): Redshirted after arriving as a recruited walk-on.
High School
Threw eight touchdown passes in the first two games of his senior season before suffering a season-ending injury in game three.
