2008 (Senior season): Started five of his 11 games... was the team's second-leading tackler in the secondary (46 stops)... tallied two interceptions, two pass breakups and a quarterback hurry... recovered two fumbles at Arkansas... had a season-high nine tackles against Stephen F. Austin... recorded four games with at least six tackles... earned the team's Green Beret Award for outstanding contributions to the kicking game.

2007 (Junior season): Earned Gateway all-conference second-team honors... started 11 games at cornerback... recorded a season-high eight tackles twice... helped WIU lead the league in sacks and pass defense, and rank 22nd nationally in pass defense and 25th in pass efficiency defense... named to the Gateway Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2006 (Sophomore season): Missed the Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois games with an injury... had six tackles on three different occasions.

2005 (Redshirt-Freshman season): Ranked third among Leatherneck defensive backs in total tackles... led the team in pass breakups... started at cornerback in nine games, including the last eight... made a last-minute interception in the end zone against Northern Colorado to seal a win... had a career-high eight tackles at Youngstown State.

2004 (Freshman season): Redshirted

Was a four-year letterwinner... helped his team as a senior to its first district title... also a three-year letterwinner and senior MVP in track.

Son of Robert Hodges, Sr. and Phyllis Welcome... born July 28, 1985... earned a bachelors degree in law enforcement and justice administration with a minor in sociology in December 2008.
