FRESHMAN (2012): Redshirted

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter on varsity... named 'Rookie of the Year' in 2009 following sophomore year, helping team advance to the Class 6A semifinals... two-time team captain... team-leading 102 tackles his senior year, in addition to: 15 tackles for loss, five sacks, four forced fumbles, two interceptions, two pass break-ups and a fumble recovery... Defensive MVP... earned South Suburban All-Conference honors final two years... Southtown Star/Pepsi-Cola All-Area team... Indians advanced to the state quarterfinals his junior and senior year... Honorable Mention All-State his senior season... leader of a defensive unit, along side fellow Leathernecks Brad Uher and Arnas Laurinaitis, that allowed only 49 points during the regular season his senior year... played for coach Eric Michaelsen... selected to play in the Illinois Coaches Association All-Star Shrine Game.

PERSONAL: Born January 25, 1993... son of John and Jennifer Krull... chosen to participate in a two week Federal Bureau of Investigation's Youth Leadership Camp in Quantico, Virginia... his dad played football at Northern Illinois from 1982-85... his dad has been a major influence, "He coached me from the moment I started playing flag football and then tackle football. He instilled in me a strong work ethic."... enjoys wakeboarding at their summer home in Michigan and snowboarding in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
