REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2010): Shared the Scout Team Defensive Player of the Year award... played in four games: Valparaiso, Sam Houston State, Indiana State and Illinois State... recorded two tackles against Sam Houston State.

FRESHMAN (2009): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in track and football... earned All-Conference honors in football and track... selected team captain... qualified for state in track... member of the track conference and city championship team... played football for coach Mike Taylor.

PERSONAL: Born July 9, 1991 in Springfield, Ill.... No. 1 sports highlight was scoring two defensive touchdowns in a game... his father has been a major influence, "He helped me get to my events and also helped in any way he could to make me better."... enjoys sports, video games and to compete... favorite professional team is the Indianapolis Colts... son of Emmanuel and Lavonne Odele.
