Played in 10 games as a true-freshman, missing only the season-finale... recorded a tackle at Sam Houston State... two tackles against Stephen F. Austin... solo tackle at Illinois State... assisted tackle in the Southern Illinois game.

High School
Helped his high school baseball team to a 34-6 record his senior year… batted .408 with five homers and 24 RBI as a senior… played running back for the St. Rita football team where he was named as the 2008 Chicago Catholic League Offensive Player of the Year… helped St. Rita to the 2008 league title... earned all-area honorable mention from the Chicago-Sun Times and first-team all-conference recognition.
