2009 (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 11 games... earned a start against Stephen F. Austin and North Dakota State... season-high three tackles against Missouri State... two tackles on four occasions: Sam Houston State, Northern Illinois, Indiana State and Northern Iowa... recorded a tackle against SFA, Illinois State and South Dakota State... 8-yard sack at Missouri State and an 11-yard sack the following week at Indiana State... recovered a fumble in the NDSU game... two quarterback hurries... finished with 14 tackles and 2.0 sacks this year.

2008 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in seven games on special teams and as a backup defensive lineman... collected six tackles... had three tackles and a tackle for loss against Indiana State... one of just four true freshmen to earn a letter.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named the district's defensive player of the year... earned first-team all-state honors in class 6A... led the entire state with 13 sacks as a defensive end... tallied 84 tackles in 2007... also started at tight end, catching 11 passes for 164 yards and three touchdowns... led his team to a 2007 playoff berth... selected to play in the May 17 Southwest Senior Bowl... earned a 13-5 record in wrestling.
