SOPHOMORE (2013): Suffered an injury during the off-season and did not see any game action... received the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2012): Played in 10 games... broke up a pass.

FRESHMAN (2011): Redshirted... named Scout Team Defensive Player of the Year.

HIGH SCHOOL: All-Area, All-Conference and team captain running back/safety as a senior at Lisle Senior... named to Daily Herald All-Area Team as a sophomore... earned three varsity letters in football... also earned four varsity letters in track... All-State in long jump and triple jump as a senior... set school long jump record... placed 10th at state in both long jump and triple jump in 2011.

PERSONAL: Son of Tony and Wendy Ventrella... born on Mar. 18, 1993 in Palos Heights, Ill.... lists setting the long jump record in high school as his favorite sports highlight.
