Bill Albee finished his second season with the Fighting Leatherneck baseball program in 2014. He spent the 2013 season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Leathernecks and was the Director of Operations for Leatherneck baseball in 2014. Prior to coming to Western, Albee was the head coach of the Galena Pirates 13 and under travel team where he led the Pirates to a Northwest Illinois Pony League Runner Up finish. He coached the Pirates during 2011 and 2012.
Albee was the assistant coach of the Fish Flies of the Mississippi River Valley League in 2009 and 2010 where he helped lead the Fish Flies to a 24-10 record and a league championship. He also helped coach outfielder Matt Groezinger, who earned D3 Preseason All-American honors in 2010. He served as the outfield and hitting coach.
In addition, Albee was a student assistant at the University of Dubuque during 2010 where he assisted hitters and infielders.
Albee was a four year letter winner as a first baseman at the University of Dubuque and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Flight Operations in 2009. Albee graduated with a Master's Degree in Sport Management from Western Illinois in December, 2013.
