TERRE HAUTE, IN - The Western Illinois Men's and Women's Cross Country teams finished up their second meet at Indiana State on September 19th.

The Women's 6k was run at 7:30 AM, and was a race where the Leathernecks were able to finish 26th out of the 28 teams. The top finisher for Western Illinois was Lydia Bennett, who ran a 22.41.5, with Karson Oberender, Emma-Kate Watt, Maclaine German, and Ellie Eastman rounding out the top 5 for the Leathernecks.

The Men's 8k was run at 8:05 AM, and saw Western Illinois finish 32nd out of 34 teams. Logan Beckmier was the top runner for the Leathernecks, running a 26.54.5, with Brody Harker, Parker Quinlan, Blayze Havel, and Carter Olsen rounded out the top 5 for the Leathernecks.

The Leathernecks next meet will be at Notre Dame on October 2nd starting at 12pm, and will be a great test for the team to go through against great competition.
