MACOMB, Ill. – Western Illinois University Athletics is proud to announce the 37th Annual Purple & Gold Gala, set to take place on Saturday, August 15 in the Union Grand Ballroom.
Returning to campus, this signature event promises an exciting evening featuring a social hour, silent auction, dinner with a variety of food stations, and a live auction. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a wide range of exclusive items, including autographed memorabilia, team travel experiences, vacation packages, and official Leatherneck gear.
The Purple & Gold Gala continues to serve as one of the most impactful fundraising events supporting Leatherneck Athletics. The evening brings together alumni, donors, and fans to celebrate the pride, tradition, and continued success of WIU student-athletes.
Event Timeline
5:00 p.m. – Doors Open | Social Hour, Cash Bar (complimentary beer & wine) & Silent Auction
6:30 p.m. – Food Stations Open
7:45 p.m. – Silent Auction Closes & Program Begins
8:00 p.m. – Live Auction Begins

Secure your spot by registering online today.
Individual registration features first-come, first-served seating for $50 per person. Reserved tables are available for groups, with pricing set at $400 for a table of eight and $500 for a table of ten.
A preview of auction items will be available beginning July 16 on the official auction website.

To reserve your spot, visit the auction website and select the "ORDER HERE!" tab, mail in the registration form, or contact the WIU Athletics Office at (309) 298-1190.
Office Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Those interested in contributing to the event are encouraged to donate auction items by completing the official auction donation form.

You can still support Leatherneck student-athletes by purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to win one of our two (2) $500 cash raffle prizes! NEED NOT TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!
