MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois University Bowling has added another decorated competitor to its roster with the signing of Addison Legendre (Prairieville, Louisiana), a standout from Dutchtown High School.
Legendre brings a championship pedigree to Macomb, having built an impressive high school career that includes multiple state titles and all-district honors.
As a junior, Legendre finished as the High School State Runner-up, placed 5th individually at the state championship, and earned First Team All-District recognition. She followed up an already strong underclass career that saw her dominate on the biggest stage.
During her sophomore season, Legendre captured the High School State Championship and was named First Team All-District. Her success began even earlier, winning the High School State Championship as a freshman, placing 4th individually at state, and earning Second Team All-District honors.
Standing at 5-foot-4, Legendre is known for her consistency, competitive mindset, and ability to perform under pressure — traits that have been evident throughout her postseason success.
Legendre chose WIU to live out her dream of bowling in college. Legendre's championship experience and drive to compete at the next level make her a strong addition to the Leathernecks' future lineup as WIU continues to build momentum within its bowling program.
