MACOMB, IL - Grace Kremer has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Grace was a defensive force this past week for the Leathernecks. Appearing in all three sets over the weekend against Murray State, Austin Peay, and Saint Louis. Over the weekend, she reached double-digit blocks with 15. Kremer tallied multiple six block matches over the second weekend. The Elkhorn, NE native was effective on both sides of the net as she hit at a .250 percentage in the match against Murray State and .444 against Austin Peay.
WIU looks to continue this weekend against Morehead, Evansville, and UAB.
