MACOMB, Ill. – The Western Illinois University Athletics Department is excited to announce an apparel agreement with adidas and BSN SPORTS, the premier platform for team sports solutions and a division of Varsity Brands. Through this partnership, BSN SPORTS will serve as the official apparel and equipment provider for the Leatherneck Athletics and outfit the university's athletes, coaches, and community members in premier adidas product selection, effective July 1, 2025.

Our team is excited to provide the Leathernecks' coaches and teams with elite service, expertise and unparalleled access to sports equipment and premier apparel - in full support of WIU Athletics' mission to provide an outstanding intercollegiate athletics experience."
Western Illinois is set to make the move to BSN SPORTS/adidas in their third year in the OVC. Since joining the OVC on July 1, 2023, WIU has seen six teams finish in the top five of the conference, as well as becoming home to one of six 2023 OVC Scholar Athletes (Logan Lommel), 2024 Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year (Drew Cisse), and the 2024 Women's Basketball Freshman of the Year (Reagan McCowan).

The new contract provides WIU Athletics with the best apparel and footwear provider in the world and ensures Leatherneck brand consistency for years to come.
