The Leathernecks showed steady improvement across all three days of competition, highlighted by a strong finish in Saturday's traditional games that carried into Sunday's bracket play. Graduate student Angela Steinke led the way with a 17th-place individual finish among more than 100 bowlers, while sophomore Maleena Moreno, senior Heather Walker, and freshman Melina Eresbey each delivered key contributions. Western's communication and lane adjustments proved vital in their climb up the standings, giving the team confidence and momentum heading into this week's McKendree Bearcat Invitational.
