Macomb, IL – Western Illinois Athletics is searching for its next voice of Leatherneck Basketball. The department will host public address (PA) announcer auditions on Monday, October 21, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. inside Western Hall. The selected announcer will serve as the in-game voice for both the men's and women's basketball programs during the 2025–26 season, helping create an exciting and engaging game-day atmosphere for Leatherneck fans.

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their announcing skills by reading sample scripts and performing live introductions on the Western Hall court.
No prior announcing experience is required, but familiarity with sports terminology and comfort on the microphone are encouraged.
