MACOMB, IL - Keyana Cruse has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Cruse was an offensive force this past week for the Leathernecks. Appearing in all nine sets over the weekend against UT Martin. Over the weekend, she reached 41 kills, and a percentage of .274. The Bonner Springs, KS native tallied 37 digs and 4 sets. Cruse has hit 1,175 kills and 1,089 digs in her time as a Leatherneck. Cruse hit a single-game high against UT Martin, reaching 3.
WIU looks to continue this week against the Eastern Illinois Panthers at home October 14th.
