Govern named Golfer to Watch

Leathernecks picked Tenth in Summit League

Sioux Falls S.D. – The Summit League announced its 2023 Men's Golf Preseason Poll and Golfers to Watch list on Thursday (Jan. 19). The Leathernecks tallied 9 points, placing 10th out of the ten teams.

Parker Govern was named as the Leathernecks Summit League Golfer to Watch. Govern a graduate student has three career top-five finishes, including winning the 2021 Alabama State Spring Classic. Govern posted two rounds in the '60s, including a career-best 67 at the 2022 Stampede at the Creek. Govern finished tied for 19th at the Summit League Championship last spring.
