Leathernecks Place 14th at Zach Johnson Invitational

Three Leathernecks tie at +20

DES MOINES, Iowa – Western Illinois Men's Golf Team wrapped up the Zach Johnson Invitational on Tuesday (Sept. 27). The Leathernecks placed 14th with a team score of +76

Parker Govern, Drew Hall, and Ryan Rochholz all finished T-64 to lead the WIU. The trio all shot +20 in the tournament. Govern had a fabulous even par during the first round. The first round for Govern saw him knock down five birdies, including four on the front nine. Hall and Rochholz got things going in the second round. Hall would combine, for four birdies, including three on the front nine for a 73. Rochholz did not have the birdies but turned in a streak of nine straight pars and a birdie to shoot a 74.

Dylan Cervantes golfed as an individual this week, where he shot +18 in the tournament. Cervantes had at least three birdies in all three rounds to help him finish T-54.
