Hendrickson announces start to Spring Ball 2022

Leatherneck football turns focus to 2022 season

MACOMB – Western Illinois football coach Myers Hendrickson officially announced Spring Ball will begin Friday, March 25th.
Western will hold 14 practices over the course of the next month, culminating with the annual Bruce Craddock Spring Game on Friday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m.
The spring game is the highlight of an active weekend for the football program.
There will be a tailgate and social held in Q Lot before the game at 3:30 p.m., followed by pregame handshakes with players and Leatherneck Football alumni at 6:15 p.m. with the game to follow.
On Saturday, April 23, Harry Mussatto Golf Course hosts the 10th Annual Leatherneck Football Golf Outing. To sign up, you can use this link: Football golf outing
Registration is at 10 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. tee time. There will be a silent auction going on throughout the day as well.
This will be the first spring football camp hosted by Western Illinois since the spring of 2020.
Hendrickson also announced a Zoom session for supporters to meet and greet the incoming coaching staff and talk about spring ball.
