ZOOperstars! coming to Western Hall

Alumni Tailgate scheduled for Dec. 3

Western Illinois University Athletics has announced a special appearance at their men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Saturday, December 3 by the ZOOperstars!

The ZOOperstars! halftime act features hilarious inflatable characters such as Mackerel Jordan, LeBronco James, Shaquille O'Seal, Dennis Frogman, Dick Flytale and many more. The act combines synchronized dance routines, acrobatics, tricks and comedy into an amazing performance that connects all fans of all ages.

"The ZOOperstars! are one of the best sports entertainment groups appearing at college and professional sporting events," Paul A. Bubb, Leatherneck Director of Athletics said. "The performance they put on at halftime is second to none and I am certain our fans will enjoy the
show."

Leatherneck basketball is in full action on Saturday, December 3 when the women host Eureka College at noon, followed by the men hosting the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at 2:30 p.m.
 
All Alumni & Friends are also invited to a Basketball Tailgate, sponsored by Woodrum Ford Toyota starting at 11 a.m. Registered guests will receive complimentary food and a general admission game ticket(s). A game ticket is required to attend the tailgate and games. A cash bar will also be available. To register for the Alumni & Friends Tailgate, call 309-298-1914 or email A-Association@wiu.edu.
