SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Unveiling its 2020-21 academic honor roll list, The Summit League had a total of 118 Western Illinois student-athletes scattered across the board, announced by the league office on Thursday (July 22).

To qualify, student-athletes must have attained a minimum 3.2 GPA for the 2020-21 academic year. Additionally, a season of competition in the sport, in which the student-athlete was nominated, must be used.

Baseball paced the way with 17 selections, while women's soccer narrowly came in second place with 16 of its own. Men's soccer had 13 representatives, and ten occurred for women's golf and softball each. Volleyball saw over half of its roster land spots (9). Women's basketball and men and women's track and field all tallied eight individuals. Following closely behind were men's golf (6) and women's tennis (5). Both cross country teams had four runners apiece.

For the year, women's tennis (3.821) and men's golf (3.195) generated the highest team GPAs within the respective gender-based programs.
