Leathernecks Drop Road Match at Oral Roberts

The team heads on the road for their next game against Wisconsin.

TULSA, OKLA. – The Western Illinois Fighting Leatherneck men's soccer team played on Saturday (Oct. 9), losing 1-0 to the Golden Eagles of Oral Roberts at the Case Soccer Complex in Tulsa, Okla.
 
16 different players featured throughout the game for WIU, and five went the full 90. Alex Flowers had another strong showing with seven saves – including five in the first half – on 18 Oral Roberts shots. WIU also drew ten fouls in the game.
 
The Leathernecks are on the road for their next matchup, facing Wisconsin on Tuesday (Oct. 12). Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Madison, Wisc.
