Chiefs, Seahawks, and Bears! Oh My!

Western Illinois football has three alums currently signed to an NFL roster.

MACOMB, Ill. - The start of the 2020 National Football League (NFL) season is days away, and the Western Illinois football program has three alums signed to a team. 

LaCale London (Chicago Bears) and Lance Lenoir (Seattle Seahawks) were signed to practice rosters, while Khalen Saunders (Kansas City Chiefs) enters his second year on the active roster with the reigning Super Bowl champions.

LaCale London
Signed an undrafted free agency deal with the Bears in April 2020 … spent two seasons at Western (2018-19) … recorded 71 tackles, 17 TFL, 7.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries 

Lance Lenoir
Entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2017 … spent three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys … ended Leatherneck career (2013-16) with 273 receptions, 3,796 yards, 28 touchdowns, 14 100-yard receiving games, two 200-yard games, and 41 consecutive games with a reception (all Western Illinois career records) … eight season appearances with the Cowboys 

Khalen Saunders
Super Bowl LIV champion … taken by the Chiefs, 84th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft ... NFL stats: 22 tackles and a sack … four-year stint with the Leathernecks (2015-18) featured 204 tackles, 34.5 TFL, 18 sacks, and four forced fumbles
