  • Ashley Minyard collected a pair of doubles in Western's NIU victory
  • Appearing in all four games, Maddy Anderson pitched a team-best 3.18 ERA ... She allowed 11 hits in 11.0 innings with five earned runs and 10 Ks

Those Leatherneck Pitchers | Western Illinois has the third-best ERA in the Summit League this season. The Leathernecks combine for a 3.91 ERA, helped by Abby Carlin's league-leading 1.88 ERA.

She is 2-4 on the year in 48.1 total innings.

Hitters Gonna Hit | Alyssa Ealy and Piper Foote are the only two Leathernecks to start every game this season, and they are both hitting over .300.

Ealy leads the club with a .349 (ranked 10th in the Summit) with a team-best four multiple-hit games, while her freshman teammate is working a .306. Both are in the midst of a three-game hitting streak.

Looking Forward | Spring Break travels send the Leathernecks to Oklahoma for one game at Tulsa (March 11) before the Cowgirl Invitational in Stillwater (March 13 -15).

Wichita State will play host to Western, Oklahoma State, SIUE, Oklahoma State, and Columbia.
