SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Western Illinois senior golfer Jackson Wetherbee was named to the All-Summit League Second Team, the league announced Saturday (April 27). This marks the third time that Wetherbee has been an All-Summit League second team member.

The Galesburg, Ill., native carries a team-low 73.30 stroke average into the postseason. Wetherbee finished in the top-five a team-best five times and in the top-10 a whopping six times. He fired a two-round score of 139 (-5) to secure the medalist position at his final Beu Mussatto Invitational in Macomb on Tuesday (April 16). The 36-hole score of 139 ranks fourth in WIU program history. It marked his first-ever tournament win and fifth top-five performance of the season.
