Both athletes ready for 2018 after career-best marks during the 2017 postseason

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Abigail Richter and Lucas Lingle each garnered preseason accolades as both were named as 'Athletes to Watch', the Summit League announced today (Aug 21.).

Richter set personal-bests in the 3-mile (15:52), 4K (14:50) and 6K (22:32.54) last season and she will look to continue to improve during her junior campaign. The Troy, Ill. native placed 24th in the 2017 Summit League Championships and clocked her career-best time at the championship.

Lingle is prepping for a breakout senior campaign after placing 24th in the Summit League Championships a year ago. The senior marked a career-best time in the 10k at the NCAA Division I Midwest Region Cross Country Championships last season with a time of 32:42.3 on Nov. 10, 2017.
