Women’s Basketball Summit League Championship Apparel Available Online

Fans can purchase apparel memorabilia from the program’s Summit League championship season

MACOMB, Ill. – Merchandise to commemorate Western Illinois women's basketball Summit League championship season is currently on sale for fans.

The Leathernecks captured the 2016-17 Summit League Regular Season and Tournament championships, earning the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Western's record-setting season came to an end Friday night at 3-seed Florida State, ending the year 26-7.

LeathernecksGear.com, the Athletic Department's official online store, is currently selling officially licensed adidas t-shirts and sweatshirts – including the adidas official "Create Yours" slogan seen on NCAA Tournament participant warm-up shirts.

The Summit League is selling championship apparel through its online store partner BSN Sports.

WIU Bookstore also has a purple t-shirt for sale, highlighting the Summit League Regular Season and Tournament titles and appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
