INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Western Illinois volleyball junior Ann Miller was named Honorable Mention All-League on Thursday evening (Nov. 21) at The Summit League awards banquet in Indianapolis. The honor is the first for the outside hitter.
Miller leads the Leathernecks with 360 kills this season and is tied for the team high in digs with 308. The 360 kills ranks ninth on the single-season kills list at WIU. Miller also has 1,005 attack attempts this season, which also ranks ninth on the single-season list.
The Bettendorf, Iowa native has amassed 902 kills and 848 digs in her three-year career. She also has 2,739 career attack attempts, which ranks ninth on the Leatherneck volleyball career list.
Miller and the Leathernecks are back in The Summit League Tournament for the first time since 2007 this weekend. The squad takes on South Dakota on Friday (Nov. 22) at 3:30 p.m. CT in opening round action.
