MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois Athletics Department's 21st annual Purple and Gold Gala Benefit Auction is scheduled for Saturday, August 28th. The event will be held inside Western Hall.

The Purple and Gold Auction is the catalyst for the fundraising efforts for the Leathernecks' 20 Division I programs. A portion of the funds raised in this year's event will help renovate the weight training facility inside Western Hall.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a social, silent auction and two $500 cash raffles. A dinner buffet and live auction will follow.
