Parker Govern of the Western Illinois Men's Golf Team was honored by the Summit League by being named to the Summit League All-Academic Team.

To qualify for the Summit League All-Academic Team, you must compete in over 50% of the team competitions and have over a 3.3 cumulative GPA.

Parker excelled in the classroom and on the golf course. The recent graduate finished with a 4.0 GPA graduating with a master's in computer science. On the golf course, Govern had his best finish this spring at the Stampede at the Creek tournament shooting two over par to finish T-8.

This is Govern's first All-Academic honor of his career.
