Biography

2016 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted the season due to injury.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four year varsity starter and letterwinner in volleyball, Gresl ranks first in program history in career digs with 1,461. As a senior team captain, Gresl tallied 695 digs, third most in single-season history at Xavier High School, while also being named a First Team Unanimous All-Conference selection. Gresl's junior year saw the libero be named First Team All-Conference while being tabbed as the Team Defensive Player of the Year. Gresl excelled off the volleyball court as she was a four-year varsity starter in soccer and a three-year varsity starter in basketball.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Steve and Cindy Gresl… nursing major… chose Western because "it felt like home away from home. The friendly and energetic atmosphere had me hooked the moment we drove in for the campus visit. The University's approaching in supporting my career options played a big role in choosing to be a Leatherneck. I couldn't be more excited to continue both of my dreams of playing volleyball and becoming a nurse."
