Biography
FIFTH-YEAR (2021): Appeared in all 29 matches during her final year, starting 16 contests... her 146 kills were sixth-best among the roster... posted double-digit numbers in kills during a stretch of three straight matches in league play... punched a season-high 12 kills versus Western Carolina (Sept. 10)... contributed 11 digs at Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 10).
SENIOR (2020-21): Gave a valuable veteran presence ... started 15 of 17 matches ... fourth on the team in kills (116) and points scored (128.0) ... contributed 119 digs ... threw down 13 kills versus North Dakota (March 19) ... finished with 18 digs versus Oral Roberts (Feb. 8).
JUNIOR (2019): Played in 15 sets… totaled 17 kills and 11 digs.
SOPHOMORE (2018): Played in 97 sets… had 195 kills and 653 total attacks… contributed 11 assists and 17 block assists… racked up 143 digs for the year… also notched three aces against Oral Roberts (Oct. 7th).
FRESHMAN (2017): Appeared in 26 matches, making 20 starts… recorded double-digit kills in her first three matches off the season… totaled season-highs with 19 kills and 31 digs against Evansville on Aug. 26… tallied more than 10 kills in eight total matches… logged 18 digs in back-to-back matches against Omaha (Sept. 29) and South Dakota State (Oct. 6)
PERSONAL: Norris is a three-year letter winner and state qualifier out of Iowa City West. She earned all-conference honors her junior year and was a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection her senior year. Her club team qualified for the 17 Open in the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals. She was a bronze medalist for Team Iowa at the 2015 USA Volleyball High Performance Championships. Norris was also a KCRG Athlete of the Week and a member of the National Honors Society.

Chose Western because:Â "Western was such a natural fit for me and my family. The ability to play close to home and having such a great criminology department was a big plus. The coaching staff is incredible and the players were all so welcoming. The campus is a perfect size and you could tell everyone knows each other and are excited to be Leathernecks. The direction the volleyball program is going is something I wanted to be a part of."
