Biography
2018 (JUNIOR): Played in 97 sets… had 12 total attacks and one kill against Omaha (Sept. 28th)... had 51 assists… team-high 389 digs for the year.
2017 (SOPHOMORE): Summit League's Academic Honor Roll and Chancellor's List... Appeared in 26 matches… led team in digs (417) and in digs per set (4.09)… ended the season fifth in The Summit League in digs and digs per set… tied a season-high with 31 digs on two occasions, versus Omaha on Sept. 29 and Evansville on Aug. 26… recorded double-digit digs in every game but three… recorded four aces in the first match of the season against Manhattan.
2016 (FRESHMAN): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... Played in 31 matches with 20 starts... Ranked fifth on the team with 112 kills in 75 sets... Recorded a career-high 13 kills against South Dakota State... Ranked third on the team with 217 digs... Compiled 21 digs for a career-high against Eastern Illinois... Recorded 10 or more digs in eight matches.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named captain and MVP of the Neuqua Valley Varsity team her senior year while leading her team to a 29-9 record. Grove was an All-Conference and All-Academic honoree in each of her junior and senior seasons and helped lead Neuqua to its first Regional Championship in school history. The outside hitter was named to four All-Tournament teams and earned All-State Honorable Mention and All-Area DuPage County honors.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jeff and Amy Grove… majoring in nursing… chose Western because, "there are several amazing opportunities both in the classroom and in the gym. I know it is a place I'll be able to call home for the next four years. The team and coaching staff feels like one big family and I'm so excited to be a part of this emerging volleyball program."
