Ben Jefferies serves as an assistant coach for Western Illinois Track and Field, overseeing sprints and jumps .A native of Bristol, England, Jeffries represented Team Great Britain at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as a member of the Men's and Mixed 4x400m Relay teams. He also earned a runner-up finish in the 400m at the 2024 UK Championships. Jeffries is sponsored by Thrive Wellness Center.

During his collegiate career, Jeffries was a three-time NAIA National Champion in the 400m, a two-time USTFCCCA Regional Athlete of the Year, a nine-time NAIA All-American, and an eleven-time GPAC Conference Champion. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology.
