Biography
2023-24: NCAA West Region qualifier in the women’s triple Jump. Adams was named both the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor and Outdoor Female of the Championships (Meet MVP). Adams scored 28 points in the indoor championships, the most of any competitor. Adams won the long jump, triple jump, and placed second in the 60m hurdles, breaking the 60m hurdle school record from 1983 in the process at the OVC Outdoor Meet. In the outdoor season, Adams continued her dominance, earning Female Athlete of the Championships with a win in the triple jump, a second in the long jump, a third in the 100 hurdles, and running a leg on the fourth-place 4x400 relay team. Adams finished second in the women’s long jump and third in the women’s triple jump at the Drake Relays.
Adams put herself all over the WIU record book, placing in the top 10 all time in the indoor 60 hurdles (first), indoor long jump (first), indoor triple jump (third), indoor 200 (second), outdoor long jump (fourth), outdoor 100 hurdles (sixth) and outdoor triple jump (second).
