Biography

SENIOR (2018): Named Second Team All-Summit League … recorded 14 starts with 84.2 innings … finished lone Leatherneck season with a 4.68 ERA …  led the Summit League with 98 strikeouts which also ranked third most in Western’s single season history … went 4-7 on the year ... dealt nine strikeouts in three of his last four starts … named Summit League Pitcher of the Week (March 19) after surrendering three hits and no earned runs against NDSU; he didn’t allow a run through the first five innings … opponents hit .251 against him … recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts vs. Oral Roberts (April 7)

SENIOR (2017): Redshirted to meet transfer requirements.

AT MISSOURI STATE (2016): Appeared in 10 games with five starts for Missouri State... 1-2 record, 7.88 ERA in 24 innings... 18 walks, 18 strikeouts.

AT JOHN A. LOGAN CC: Two-year starter, helping his club to the 2015 GRAC title by going 4-3 with a 2.34 ERA and a .190 opponent batting average... recorded 77 strikeouts in 74.0 innings over 11 starts for the Volunteers.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time all-conference honoree as a prep at Richwoods HS... tossed a no-hitter in Illinois state regional play as a senior... competed in basketball and football, playing on a pair of conference championship squads on the grid iron. 

PERSONAL: Son of Mike and Pam Dunne... born March 17, 1995 in Peoria... his father was a collegiate standout at Bradley and runner-up for the 1987 National League Rookie of the Year award, pitching for parts of five seasons in the Majors with four clubs.
